How much does it cost?
Weekly single-stream curbside recycling pickup is $30 per month. There's also a one-time $35 fee for your Star City Recycling 32-gallon rolling bin with lid — yours to keep.
What is single-stream recycling?
Single-stream means all your recyclables — paper, plastic, metal, and glass — go into one bin with no sorting required. We handle the separation at the facility. It's the simplest way to recycle.
Am I eligible for the service?
We serve Roanoke County and Salem, VA — including Cave Spring, Vinton, Hollins, and surrounding communities. Fill out the form with your address and we'll confirm availability in your neighborhood.
How do I pay?
We accept checks and cash. Checks payable to Star City Recycling, mailed to:
